Well, the response to your talk was overwhelming as around 90 students actively participated in the session. 100 SMEs supported in Key Milestone for SME Rise Collective

100 SMEs

Proud to be proud of this excellent initiative!

The SME Rise Collective is proud to announce they have hit their milestone target of supporting 100 SMEs in the UAE with marketing and communications support since their launch 4 months ago.

With SMEs making up such an important part of the UAE economy, The SME Rise Collective was created with one goal only – to support as many SMEs as it could during Covid times to ensure their survival back to thriving profitable businesses, and that they have done…. and some!

Key achievements of #SmeRiseCollective in 4 months:

  • 100 SMEs supported according to their business needs
  • 8 websites built
  • 32 PR campaigns executed
  • 12 company re-brands
  • 36 social media accounts optimized and managed
  • 6 training courses run for Collective members
  • 8 radio competitions
  • 18 pages of magazine advertising
  • 23 online adverts
  • Other services provided as required: Accounting, copywriting, business coaching and mentoring.

SMEs that have been supported by The Collective include:  Real Boxing, Posh Paws, Eco Souk, TKD Lingerie, Prickly Pear, Anavisio, Amazing Mums, Boundarie.com, PJs for Days, Palm Lights, Facette Bar, Baby Sensory, Master Elliot, Decluttr Me, Isabella The Brand, Beach Seventy Six, KetoCoach, Pure European Chiropractic and Physiotherapy Centre, Holly Holistic, The Lucidity Coach and Hi Maintenance.

Agencies and licensed freelancers who have formed part of The Collective include:  TishTash Marketing and Public relations, Fox and Hound Communications, Markettiers, Standish Services, Catch Comms, Matrix PR, PR Wonderland, Sociate, Jansen Harris, Market Buzz International, Empyre Communications, Digitalina, The Androit Agency, Agency Seventeen, PUSH Mena, Vival Media, Amanda Rushforth, Laura Himal, S Cubed, By Niggy, Digital AdDoctor and many more.

Those that have supported The Collective include:  Kibsons, Lighthouse Arabia, ARN, Elevision, Connector Magazine, Stuck On You, Deun Photography, Furless, Neeps Consulting, BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associate LLP, Purple Swan,  CG Barbershop, CPI Publishing, Steam Vision, Style Addicts and over 100 more.

Natasha Hatherall, founder of TishTash and The SME Rise Collective says “Reaching this milestone feels a bit emotional for myself and the team. What started as a silly idea when we felt helpless in the middle of lockdown and a belief that even if we could help one SME we’d be happy, grew and grew. During this time we have met so many amazing people, have been touched by the kindness of strangers, felt warm and fuzzy at the messages we received and ultimately what many may not realise is that #SmeRiseCollective helped get us through this time, adding a positive focus to our days when we were dealing with our own badly affected businesses.”

The work of the SME Rise Collective continues as for many SMEs the next 12-18 months will be critical to get them fully back on their feet and the pledge of the SME Rise Collective to help and support as many businesses as they can remains, with more than 400 still in the queue awaiting support.
